Christopher Lopez

Our tax manager, Christopher, has five years of experience in the accounting profession. He holds an MBA from Brandman University and is currently pursuing a master’s in taxation. Christopher is dedicated to ensuring clients receive consistent, high-quality service from every accountant at the firm—striving to foster a collaborative environment where both clients and the team work toward accurate, optimized tax filings.

Christopher’s approach to problem solving centers around teamwork within North Star and with clients. He believes in being proactive with tax strategies to help clients understand the implications of their business decisions—ultimately supporting their growth and positively impacting the community. He is an active member of the Rotary Club of Bellingham and a U.S. Navy veteran. During his time in the Navy, Christopher served as a Master at Arms (military police officer) for six years with tours of duty in Japan and Bahrain. His leisure hours will find Christopher enjoying soccer, hiking, and spending time with his children.
