Karly Scheelar

With a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Central Washington University, Karly brings three years of professional accounting experience to North Star clients. Before joining our team, Karly gained valuable experience at another accounting firm as well as on the financial management team of Sagecliffe Resort and Spa in Quincy.

Specializing in tax services for farming, construction, food and beverage, and hospitality businesses, Karly assists clients with tax preparation, compliance, and planning. She derives motivation and great satisfaction working in a team-centered approach to helping business owners navigate the complexities of tax strategies and successfully grow their companies.

Outside of work, Karly enjoys reading, walking her dog, playing pickleball, going to the gym, skiing, fly-fishing, and soccer. She is also an active volunteer with the Basin Sounders, where she coaches a youth soccer team.

Karly’s advice for aspiring entrepreneurs: “Just start. There will never be a perfect time, but your services could make a real difference for someone.”
